Snorkeling

The Belize Barrier Reef has an abundance of sea life, schools of tropical fish and coral gardens. We offer full day excursions out to the Snake Cays as well, which are not part of the barrier reef system but lie on an isolated coral ridge growing on a limestone ledge.

Swimming

Enjoy swimming off your own private beach on Moho Cay or as part of a snorkeling excursion to the Snake Cays or the marine reserves.

Sea kayaking

Sapodilla Cays Marine Reserve Trip

The Sapodilla Cays Marine Reserve, at the southern tip of the Belize Barrier Reef, covers approximately 125 square kilometers and includes fourteen sand and mangrove cays. The outer portion of the reserve is characterized by shallow water reefs, which fringe around the cays. Some of the best snorkeling and diving in Belize can be found here.

Wildlife, Birding and Ecology Tours

Birds, manatee, crocodiles, giant whale sharks, vibrant tropical fish, as well as many other types of marine life inhabit the cays along the barrier reef. Tours will take you to Payne’s Creek National Park, Ycacos Lagoon, Wild Cane Cay, Seven Hills and Middle River. You’ll see a variety of wetland habitats, coastal ridges, old second growth forest, broadleaf forest, marshland vegetation, pine ridge savannahs and mangrove swamps.
