Peace and Quiet Has Come To Moho Cay Lodge!

Belize Lodges and Excursions are proud to announce the recent installation of a solar and wind energy system at Moho Cay Lodge. This is another step in their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint, as well as providing renewable energy awareness to guests and staff.

More solar projects are scheduled for Belize Lodges in the future. The array of 12 195W solar modules and a 1000W wind generator with 12 AGM batteries utilizes a state of the art inverter with a generator only as backup, allowing the island's energy needs to be met more consistently and efficiently.
