Conservation at Belize Lodge
How We Are Involved
In addition to being a one of a kind destination resort, Belize Lodge is deeply involved with and committed to conservation efforts in the area.
As well as reducing its carbon-footprint in the area through the use of alternative sources of energy, Belize Lodge also supports the advancement of awareness and knowledge of the fragile local ecology and marine environments through actively sponsoring involvement in basic research in the area with major universities, our partners and the assistance of the Belize government.
Belize Lodge is also committed to helping create sustainable economic development for local people, helping to support and protect the local Maya culture.
BLE is proving that business and conservation can advance common goals by taking a holistic, green and low impact approach to living, working and exploring in the precious and rare Belize rain-forest and providing a unique and un-paralleled experience for today’s Eco – Traveler
